You can only make money for free if you get enough visitors onto your website. Then you need to encourage them to click on the ads, this isnt that easy.
I offer free tuning help. The visitors may be interested in getting something for free, or they may be interested in what other companies offer. They may then click on the ads, earning me revenue.
When building a site it is important to find a topic which has not been covered millions of times. Also your site must be useful, otherwise people will not be interested.
Your site must also be good to get googles approval. Once you have this you can then start placing ads. They will only be relevant to the topics covered on your site. This page should make adverts on get rich quick schemes, or ad sense tips.

An alternative to google adsense is Exo-click. This company allows you to place ads immediately without any kind of verification. Their ads are not targetted like google ads but adult themed ads are available too which is good depending on the nature of your website.
